RAIHLAH KEMENANGAN
A well-loved Indonesian song traditionally played and sung during Eid al-Fitr (Idul Fitri) celebrations. The title translates to “Achieve Victory” in English, symbolizing the spiritual triumph after a month of fasting during Ramadan.
This song, written by Wieke Gur (lyrics) and Elfa Secioria (music), carries a warm, uplifting message about renewal, forgiveness, and the joy of returning to purity after the holy month. It’s known for its rich harmonies and is often performed in a cappella style—most famously by Elfa’s Singers, and also performed by many other singers including Hedi Yunus.

Ucaplah untuk terakhir
Originally written for the 1986 Festival Lagu Populer Indonesia, the song’s poignant lyrics and melody have come to be regarded as a masterpiece in the musical legacy of Elfa Secioria and Wieke Gur. Following Elfa’s passing in 2011, Hedi Yunus and Mario Ginanjar performed the song live on Metro TV as a heartfelt tribute, expressing the deep loss and admiration shared by many. Though it remained unpublished for years, the song eventually found its place on Elfa’s Singers’ Timeless album, preserving its emotional resonance for future generations.

Asmara
“Asmara” was the final collaboration between Wieke Gur and the late Elfa Secioria before his passing in January 2011. Sparked by the knowledge that Rihanna’s “Umbrella” was created using GarageBand, Wieke experimented with the software in 2009 and composed both the lyrics and melody. The song was deeply inspired by Cinema Paradiso (Ennio Morricone). Elfa’s cinematic arrangement enriched the piece, and it was first recorded by his student, Elfa Tahmila, in January 2009. In 2012, Shakila brought the song to a broader audience by recording it in the U.S. and Turkey for her album—keeping the spirit of their collaboration alive.

“Sesuatu” is the only a cappella piece composed by Elfa Secioria with lyrics by Wieke Gur, performed by Elfa’s Singers. Originally released in 1988 on the album Kasmaran, the song showcases the group’s exceptional vocal harmonies without instrumental accompaniment. The lyrics delve into the profound emotions stirred by someone’s presence, highlighting Wieke Gur’s talent for conveying deep feelings through simple language.
“Sesuatu” was digitally remastered in the 2009 album Sing The Best, celebrating Elfa’s Singers’ 30-year career.
